Machining:
Stainless Steel 347 Spring Washer is considered to be more difficult to machine compared to other austenitic stainless steel grades due to its high strength and toughness. It requires sharp tools, slow speeds, and heavy feed rates for optimal results. Additionally, the use of sulfur-based cutting fluids is not recommended as it can lead to pitting corrosion on the surface of the material.
